The Army Black Knights made history with their 35-14 victory over Tulane in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) championship game on December 6, 2024. This win marked Army's first-ever conference championship, a significant milestone for a program that had been independent since 1890, except for a brief stint in Conference USA from 1998-2004.

Quarterback Bryson Daily was the star of the game, rushing for four touchdowns and tying the AAC championship game record. His performance gave him a total of 29 rushing touchdowns for the season, breaking the AAC record. Daily's powerful running game, combined with Kanye Udoh's 158 rushing yards, including a 72-yard run, overwhelmed Tulane's defense.

The Black Knights' bruising, clock-eating rushing attack was a hallmark of their season, leading the nation with 312.5 rushing yards per game. Their perfect 8-0 record in AAC play and an overall 11-1 record capped off a historic first season in the conference.
